Skid Steer Mulcher

The Skid Steer Mulching Unit can be utilised for mulching regrowth in confined areas, small blocks, roadside vegetation, fire trails. Agrifuture can offer the widest range of skid steer mulching units available in Australia and New Zealand not only in size ranges but also with teeth or hammer configurations. Agrifuture mulching units can utilize swinging flails, cutting knives and or fixed hammers. Most mulching units are only available for high flow machines and usually offer a choice of one or two different size hydraulic motors, making it difficult to get the maximum efficiency from your mulcher. Agrifuture matches the hydraulic motor of your mulcher specifically to your skid steer unit, guaranteeing maximum efficiency. We have a range of 8 motors sizes. As we use hardox steel to build the mulching units this substantially reduces the weight of the mulches, generating less stress on your skid steer undercarriage and machine over all.

Skid Steer Low Flow Flail Mulcher

Agrifuture low flow skidsteer mulchers are extremely robust and lightweight and are suitable for skid steer machines with oil flows from 38 litres per minute; making it one of the few mulchers available worldwide that can be operated from a low horsepower skidsteer unit. The Agrifuture low flow skidsteer mulcher utilizes Y swinging flail cutters that have a knife tip speed of 177 kilometres per hour, making a breeze to cut through grass, woody weeds and small regrowth. As the machine is made of Hardox, the weight is kept down. We offer over 8 different hydraulic motor configurations. By match the hydraulic motor of the mulcher with each skidsteer, this has enabled us to have very wide cut widths i.e. 1.83 m, 2.13 m and 2.59 m and still allows the machines to operate at maximum efficiency. This gives skidsteer machines a clear advantage of being able to operate within the cut width of the mulcher, reducing the possibility of track or undercarriage damage.

Skid Steer Low Flow Knives Mulcher

Agrifuture's latest technology low flow knives mulcher for Skid-Steers. Efficiently cuts & mulches up to 100mm diameter material. Intermittently cuts up to 200mm. Cuts trees or brush with the same teeth. The Agrifuture low flow knife skidsteer mulcher operates in a similar way to that of a chipper in that it has a set of knives going across the whole length of the drum which chips the material, leaving a very high-quality finish. These mulchers don't like a lot of contamination as in rocks, but are extremely efficient on whippy types of material or light brush etc. The knife mulchers drain very little horsepower from the skidsteer unit, enabling the machine to process more work or larger material than a standard mulcher. The blades on these mulchers are reversible and can also be sharpened by using a grinder in-field; reducing downtime and increasing productivity.

Skid Steer High Flow Knives Mulcher

Efficiently cuts & mulches up to 150mm diameter material. Intermittently cuts up to 250mm. The Agrifuture high flow knife skidsteer mulcher works on the same principle as the low flow but operates a high flow system allowing the machine to mulch bigger material faster. The high flow knife mulcher can operate faster and leaves a far better finish than a tungsten carbide mulcher but it does not like contamination. The blades on these mulchers are reversible and can also be sharpened by using a grinder in-field; reducing downtime and increasing productivity. Cuts trees or brush with the same teeth.

Skid Steer High Flow Hammer Mulcher

These skidsteer mulchers are extremely robust and lighter than most of our competitors’, enabling us to have wider cut widths than most other skidsteer mulching units. Agrifuture can offer three different types of teeth on this mulcher to suit different types of regrowth or densities; all of these teeth or hammers weigh the same and are interchangeable. All of the Agrifuture skidsteer mulchers have a two-stage cutting chamber and also an optional bolt-on second sheer bar in the mulching chamber. This can greatly reduce the amount of passes required by the skid steer mulcher, making them far more efficient and cost-effective than other models available. Efficiently cuts & mulches up to 150mm diameter material. Intermittently cuts up to 250mm.
